

Optima trainer Ken Walker has completed Level 1 of the C.H.E.K Institute's Holistic Lifestyle Coaching Programme.
Ken travelled up to Lancashire on 30th September for three intensive days of training with presenter Emma Lane. The course covers many principles of nutrition and lifestyle that are often over-looked when people engage in exercise training and this leads to many being unsuccessful with their training. Such principles include the use of Metabolic Typing®, as well as looking at stress, circadian rhythms, food quality, eating patterns, digestion and detoxification.
Ken said "the course was a real eye-opener and it becomes so clear why people struggle with their health and fitness goals! I am really looking forward to adding this extra dimension to my clients' programmes."
As a result of the course, Ken is now able to offer a detailed assessment allowing him to work out what nutrition programme will work best for you as well as identifying areas in your life that are holding you back.
