Optima Personal Training specialise in delivering bespoke training programmes for the following needs:
Some of the features of our 1-to-1 exercise coaching include:
Detailed Assessments
In order to ensure that your exerise programme is as safe and effective as possible, it is necessary to conduct a detailed assessment. We use the C.H.E.K (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) approach which places an emphasis on posture and function. Depending on your goals, the assesment may include the following: flexibility, muscle balance, measurement of spinal curvatures, pelvic alignment, core muscle function, sacro-iliac joint function, bio-motor abilities and upper cervical assessment. For more information, have a look at our blog post - What is a C.H.E.K assessment?
Correct Technique and Intensity
Gyms are rife these days with people making mistakes when performing exercises incorrectly or at the wrong intensity (usually too hard!). At Optima, you can be assured that your technque will be 100% accurate and you will perform the exercises at the correct intensity for your ability. This ensures that you achieve the results you are looking for, avoid injury and enjoy the experience.
Improved Posture using Corrective Exercise
Good posture is one of the most important objectives if you are
to achieve the results you want - whatever they may be!
Whether you are looking to improve sports performance, alleviate
chronic pain, lose weight, or improve wellbeing, the ability of the
muscles, joints and organs to function as they are meant to is
largely influenced by posture. For this, we use the detailed
assessment and then integrate corrective exercise into our clients'
programmes for optimum results. Have a look at our blog - Why
is posture so important? - for more information.
